When you gratefully receive a fab of pic or pics on your account do you send a thank you message to gracefully appreciate this?

I don't think I've ever gratefully received a fab on a pic.

I tend to think "they have a keen eye" or "they've got a good sense of humour" about people that fab my photos, rather than feeling the need to thank them.

Receiving messages off the back of fabbing photos is why some folk refrain from giving them a like so to speak. People fab them for varying reasons, some will be to initiate contact, but most will simply be that they appreciate the photo for whatever reason, be it effort, style, location, content etc and it can be uncomfortable when you get messaged with "I see you fabbed my photo, wanna meet?" coz then any mystery about the person had vanished and you think "oh, another one who thinks fab = fuck

No. But if someone fabbed our pics and we found them attractive, we would message them, the same as we would if we noticed their profile any other way and found them attractive.

And I think 9 times out of 10, mine are from a dude. I'm not looking for dudes, so I'm 100% not messaging them and thanking them for a fab I'm not even fussed about in the first place.

Yes I do, actually!

But generally speaking it's on the back of those light-hearted "Fab My Photo" threads. I'll send a thanks but it's a 'closed' remark that doesn't warrant a reciprocal reply.

If I get a speculative Fab out of the blue then no, I don't send a thanks.

Yes I scan them, and have made a connection from them as I have from a wink, but thanking every one would turn it in to a bit of an industry and might come across as messing folk about if they took a thank you as a show of interest in more.

I've thanked people for fabs, on the odd occasion it happens, with no other reason than appreciating the fab.. Well maybe also to let them know what great taste they have
