You need to be very quick getting tickets when they go on general online sale! The yellow wall is amazing but I think it’s best to go in the seats so you have a view of it and can truly appreciate the scale!

Most people say Dortmund is a bit of a dump but I quite liked it - you also have the national football museum there opposite the station.

Also, that whole region is awash with great sides, if you can’t get Dortmund tickets I’d give Schalke, Fortuna Düsseldorf, MSV Duisburg, Rot Weis Essen or Bochum a go.

German football is great fun with amazing atmosphere - you can stand on terraces and have a beer and a bratwurst!
