"Amazon is where I buy mine when I need them. Have you considered a cutthroat razor for shaving? They take practice but you get an excellent shave from them. MrWho." +1 for Amazon, even though I have a beard, I still use a cut throat for trimming and tidying up. Wish I’d used one so much sooner.

"Amazon is where I buy mine when I need them. Have you considered a cutthroat razor for shaving? They take practice but you get an excellent shave from them. MrWho." I actually own one following a suggestion years ago. However, it is now gathering dust as the last time I used it I almost "shaved" a mole on my neck off (which bloody hurt and was...very bloody). My worry with Amazon - following previous experiences - is that it is getting as bad as eBay. You either try to buy a branded product but receive a fake or buy an own-brand product that turns out to be crap. I'm not saying that applies to every eBay & Amazon seller but it puts you off after a while.

"Wouldn't touch Wilk sword or gillette razors for money. There's loads of shops - Never used Amazon to buy from, try to support local businesses directly. Get a decent shave cream if your hair is thick and remember to strop the razors every now and again (both sides). Few co's I use below. Beardsandwhiskers Englishshaving co Tradishional shaving co Gents " Thanks, I'll have a look. I used to get "barbers packs" of Wilkinson Sword razors for a decent price - I could get a big enough pack to last a year for £20 or so. Unfortunately, the seller is no longer in business.

"Get bic disposable single blade razors..." I used Bic's disposable single-blades for a while and whilst I can use them they're just not sharp enough - I always get "shaving grazes".

"Otherwise eBay I used to get “Derby” brand" Derby - that's the brand I couldn't remember. Cheers.
