Pissed off, dog owners

My lab was playing with a cocker, the cocker got a bit scared (wasn’t touched) and started barking. The owner of the cocker called me a cunt, called my dog a fucking lab cunt, and proceeded to shout this across the wood. Her husband (I assume it was husband) stayed quiet and walked away. So I called my dog back and put him on the lead.

Not expecting any responses to this, but it really shook me up, I was left speechless, wish I had said something to her. All I could think was that she was trying to get my dog destroyed. Both dogs were off lead and just playing.

No, just me, can only think she had her problems, but wish I’d tried to talk to her.

Some folk are just dicks...

My dog can sometimes love a play or sometimes is an antisocial dickhead who will give a wee growl to other dogs BUT this is all part of canine hierarchy so unless there's snapping by either dog I leave them to sort it out between the 2 of them

They know better when things are going bad than we do!

I agree, they were playing and wagging and having a great time . I’m just pissed off I didn’t give her a piece of my mind now. She’ll turn her dog into a nervous wreck

Wish I had done, I was just so shocked, they were having a great time, some people don’t understand dogs. Think I just just said, what the fuck, as my jaw hit the ground

What a thundercunt!

Although you probably did the best thing for both dogs by not reacting, they feel and react to your energy...I've always tried to stay calm in situations like this so as not to get my pooches wound up.

Give your furry friend an extra treat before bed and assure him/her that they're not a cunt... Labs are very intelligent and might overthink this
