What do you collect? I love markets, antique fairs and carboot sales both here and abroad and looking for inspiration for some small collectibles. Not looking to spend a fortune and has to be small things that don't take too much space. Any sensible ideas, much appreciated

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Whatever catches your eye really. If they're small, why resitrict yourself to one type of thing?

Thanks, done thimbles and spoons before. I have considered the pebbles/stones idea.

Thanks, no I will not but helps to focus the mind if looking just for say 2 or 3 things rather than lots.

I used to have lots of these but not sure what happened to be honest as it was long time ago. They are collectible and valuable

They’re around £10-15 usually and some were selling for £60-£70. I didn’t look at all the expensive ones but they weren’t anything that you’d think would be expensive.

Sadly most of the new ones don't hold any value as there so mass produced. Used to own over 400 sold them at the right time I think. But your right for a 10 pound toy a few did sell for silly money

Cheltenham

I got a coin minted back when JC had just taken Rome and MA was controlling some legions.

Teeny tiny thing it is and was a day's pay for a Legionary.

I do fancy getting one from each legion.....
