Mood lighting with candles or the fire burning, or at least some light, even if it’s just moonlight

Try plug in night lights with PIR sensors.

No need to find the light switch. Just stay still and they'll turn off.

I hate motion lights. I went on hiday once, decided to have a meal on the balcony and everytime I raised the fork to my mouth, lights came on. I could not find the switch to change it. I lost my appetite

They actually work well in the hall and on the stairs.

Off it’s never pitch black anyway as so much light from outside bleeding in anyway.

Or maybe a led glow ambient light

I don't like bright lights, has to be soft and dim mood lighting for sex during the evening and just in general to be honest.

I'm not bothered during the day but the last thing I want at night is a harsh bright light beaming down on all of my nakedness.

"Reminds me of the joke:

I've just installed strobe lights in the bedroom.

It makes the wife look like she's moving during sex."

Seriously though, lights on. I prefer to see everything my wife has to offer while indulging.

That said, surprise night sex in the dark is great!
