East Sussex

I had an autograph book. I only collected friends and family though because the chances of me encountering anyone famous were pretty remote. One I remember very well was a nurse my mum knew she wrote,

2 ys u r

2 ys u b

I c u r 2 ys 4 me.

In those pre text speak days it took 9 year old me a while to suss that one out

Wherever the wind takes me

My then boyfriend got me the autograph of James Dean Bradfield from The Manic Street Preachers, on the back of my bus pass. No idea where I put it.

I wish I had kept my autograph book from years ago. My dad took us to celebrity golf tournaments and I had Bruce Forsyth, Ronnie Corbett, Sean Connery, Kenny Lynch and James Hunts autographs as well as many others.
