I prefer a message with more than a couple of words and it's personal to me. I can spot a copypasta job that's been sent to 50 others. No dick pics. Face pic is optional. The profile is equally as important but you haven't asked for feedback.

Usually say hello, say something related to their profile either that I have shared interest in or stood out etc, try and leave a little quip about myself and send a face pic.

Can confirm this apporach does not work.

I don’t really know to be honest. I always look at the profile first anyway before I read the message. If I like the profile I’ll probably answer anyway, unless it’s vile which it usually isn’t if I’ve liked the profile.

I know there are ghosts, time wasters and others you could label but there is nothing like meeting for a social for you both to chat, put the world to rights and generally just have a nice time.

I suppose the scattergun approach to meets doesn't work.

I am very choosey who I talk to in private on here and that works for me and I've been very lucky to meet some lovely ladies.

Just my opinion and my own 10years experience on here.

I look at the profile - If it’s interesting, aligns with what I’m looking for, and has pics (I like) I’ll probably respond regardless of what is said (UNLESS it’s vile). I do appreciate specific messages that reference something in my profile or pics though!

A lot of people will look at your profile before opening your message. If your profile doesn't catch their attention your message is not getting opened.
