Really dislike Christmas and absolutely dreading it this year given the state I was in last year, I’m petrified of a repeat

Can I not enjoy the rest of the summer first? And this winter is going to be bleak for many millions across the country and Christmas may exasperate the that feeling of despair for many. I'm out of this thread and I'll start thinking about Christmas come December.

I enjoy Christmas, I just hate this expectation and hype build up.

I mean, do we get the build up for Summer, where its far more fun and everyone's happier ?

But now I'm bah humbug I guess

This is such a mood.

The most exciting message I've received today is I can go and buy a pumpkin spice latte.

So yes; I'm looking forward to Christmas. After my birthday. And Halloween. So many exciting things.

Worthing

Don't mind days leading up and the event itself. It's January and February I cannot stand! Just "nothing" months. Dark and cold.

I know right! Not to mention TV season with new series of shows coming out. Also, I've never tried a Pumpkin Spiced latte before, I'll definitely try one this year!

Near Wells

Tesco have the chocolate tubs out on display already.

I like Christmas but after the weeks of crappy adverts, Tv programs and songs. I'm glad when it's over.
