Géntlemèn, Lådìes, Bínarìes, Whatévèries and Inclusìvitíes....

I'll keep it short: for those of you who wear a scent - aftershave, cologne, eau de toilette, perfume etc - do you enhance your aura and well-being with, funds permitting, the complementary scented products such as body wash, deodorant, face cream/creme...from the same product line?

I don’t personally. It’s a hodgepodge mix and match for me.

It's about Eau d'Baldrick from the House of Edmund Blackadder.

I'm too poor for that.

But my body lotions, deodorants and moisturisers are unscented so it's not too much of a disaster.

People wash?! Thought deodorant and Eau de tiolette was to hide the smell?

That's the best way forward. I have sensitive skin and therefore my cologne comes to the fore.

On rare occasions I'll 'risk my skin' and use the associated scented products.

Nah because the best body washes are not the stuff the aftershave brands sell. I do have specific things for face wash, body wash, hair stuff, body creams, face creams etc that all have to be different brands

I do love a fragrance.

It without a doubt helps you get talking to some who share a taste its a good ice breaker.

I keep it a bit old school with versace Dylan blue.

Massive compliment getter.

But no, paying £20 for a deodorant is a bit to much.

The scents I have don’t have many other bits but if I’m on a scent that does, I use it.

Currently on Lady GaGa Fame and it has a matching thing.

I was recently given two fragrances from The Penhaligon range. The Lord George was described as a night of sensual lust after dinner in an enormous bed in an opulent hotel or country house. The Duke is an enthusiastic shag on a horse blanket in a field. Who am I to argue?..

I (M) end up with full ranges of scents as I start with the soap, if I like that then it's up through the rest of the products.

Still annoyed that my favourite scent tops out at aftershave but the manufacturer has other scents which go to cologne.

I refuse to pay ridiculous amounts for any scent. Dupes are copies of well known brands. Some are better than others but I use The Essence Vault.

I've used that one. I found I can use Nivea creme soft and the cashmere one. Dove products make me itch like mad, especially the soap bar.

I don’t - and wouldn’t even if I could afford them. I like bodies to be clean and fresh smelling - so go for unscented lotions and deodorant.

My go to perfumes are Vera Wang’s Princess and Miss Dior

Yes, it's layering!

How effective it is depends on the product line, brands etc. My signature cologne, which I've been wearing since I was sixteen, has questionable longevity. But if I use the accompanying shower gel the cologne seems to endure well into the evening.
