For those of us who don't publicly display face pictures, I'm pretty sure we deliberate over our best selfie to exchange, after all it's the deal breaker!

Do you prefer the side profile, looking up, maybe never smiling as you look odd. Maybe your eyes look slightly away from the lens or even on either side of your head when up close?

What do you need for the perfect/acceptable selfie to exchange?

I just press the button 9054 times, and find 3 that are less demented mammoth looking than the rest.

And a face pic isn't a face pic unless you can see the eyes. That means no shades!

I delete all my pics every few months so they're all pretty recent.

If I've had a month of no working out and too much wine then I definitely don't look the same!!

We had a lot of fun taking the photos to renew our passports.

. I had to dash off and wash and blow dry my hair after 678 attempts. Then I was holding the camera at an angle for the first of 758 tries for Mr N

I try not to do selfies, I can’t do the angle from above thing, I look like a Borrower. Or the serious sexy, I end up like a criminal.

My face pics are what they are sadly, I think I don’t look anything like I do in real life v photos.
