Man cuts off own testicles while dreaming....

Kofi Atta dozed off in an armchair at his home in Ghana and claims that he managed to pick up a knife and mutilate the sensitive area while dreaming about cutting meat.

The farmer called two neighbours, while still in a dream-like state, who rushed to his house and found him covered in blood.

He told BBC Pidgin: "I was sitting in my chair when I dozed off. In my sleep I dreamt that I was cutting some meat in front of me.

"I don't remember how I picked up the knife, even I am confused."

Atta explained how he felt a sharp pain in his genitals when he stood up but only became aware of the true horror of his injuries while in hospital.

Doctors have told Atta that he must undergo surgery to make a full recovery and he is now aiming to raise funds for the procedure.

...whatever you do not dream of cutting meat chaps...
