Now I know there's a lot of purists who don't like to see movies re-made but it's hard to argue that some could do with a modern take on the plot so a new generation could enjoy the story.

I'm sat here watching "The Last Starfighter" and all I can think is how a modern take on that movie could appeal to a new audience rather than relegating the plot to a movie from.my childhood..
