Pentewan sands cornwall near mevagissey from 1972 and still go there now as my dad lives not far from there.

I’d say perhaps not if you don’t know it well. Unless you get one of the all inclusive packages and do things as part of groups. But I don’t know because I’ve always gone with family and family that have accents which is also a help.
