Ah you’re still a mere pup. Wait until you get to my age, you’ll have passed through the engagements and weddings phases. Even probably the divorces.

I’m onto funerals now. Life comes at you fast. Enjoy every minute while you can

Marriage is overrated.. Get someone to focus on your other ring instead.

It's okay, you can feel bitter about it if you want.

All my friends are in happy committed relationships and I'm the only single one. I'm soooooo happy for them too, not at all jealous of their stupid happiness

Just think of the Hen nights and the partying. And the single men at the Wedding.

Every cloud!

Oh and isn't just the best when they invite you out and it's a group of couples all sitting together and you on your own like you've just emerged from the rafters of Notre-Dame... Boy do I cherish those moments

All of my friends are also either married or in serious relationships, fear not, I'm quite happy to still avoid telling them about my swinging lifestyle that I enjoy. Don't feel like you need to confirm because of the way other people around you are acting. When the times right you'll settle down....or not

My boudoir - S Wales

I’m a classic “always the bridesmaid”.

And I’ve never had a plus one at the 100+ weddings I’ve been to.

But you know what, I look around and remind myself that I’m free as a bird and able to fuck Willy nilly

(Whoever Willy Nilly is, hope he has a boat!)

Near Marlborough

I get it. I love being single (with FwBs) but every so often I do feel a pang of envy for my happily together friends, as much as I love and admire their healthy relationships. Only every so often though.

I’ve wanted that in the past but maybe I’m just not suited because it never seems to work out quite right.

Vx

I hate weddings. Even the cake tastes shit.

Having said that, I do wish to be with somebody special
