I used to have a C60 tape as a teen with The Sounds Of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel on one side and Reign In Blood by Slayer on the other.

I used to argue the 2 albums aren't actually that different with both being ostensibly guitar and vocal compositions, punctuated by percussion with lyrics about the dark side of humanity and both clocking in at sub 30 mins.

Still love both albums.

I tend to like one or two songs from a vast number of different artists/bands some of my currant favourites are Emmitt fenn - edge of the dark , doja cat -streets , Ec twins - come by, Shannon - give me tonight but I also listen to korn and bonnie raitt I’m all over the place
