I’m not young enough to hold it like a spit tray in front of me. What is that about?

I only talk in front of the phone if I'm video chatting. Otherwise I'll hold it to my ear unless I'm busy trying to do something.

"I’m not young enough to hold it like a spit tray in front of me. What is that about?"

I almost spat as I giggled reading this

I see people hold it like I hold the top layer of icing from a custard slice as it enters my mouth

Sometimes, on a long call, I do right hand to left ear.

Definitely by my ear, I don't get the idea of holding it in front of my face. And it's just so annoying if it's on speaker and I have to hear other people's calls!

Urgh, it gets right on my wick when people have speakerphone conversations in public - put your earphones in or turn it off and put it to your ear. Same goes for if they've got the volume turned up that high that you can hear it as loudly as if they had it on speakerphone. And on car hands free driving round with the windows open and it blaring out!

By my ear, it's so annoying having to listen to someone shouting at their phone because it so far from their ear. Plus have to listen to everything they say too.

Against my ear but I’m also a walker when I talk.

Yes I said walker. I seem to have a habit of walking around whilst on the phone

I always have my mobile phone on the end of an extended selfie stick, that way, when I get a phone call, I can shout at the phone and look important.
