We had a fella join us at work . Asked where he worked before like you do. He had been a driver at Mc vittie in Stockport. Got made redundant after 18 years. Then he said I will not eat a biscuit made by mcvitties again. Gold star pettiness . Afrenoon All

I don’t see that as pettiness to be honest. He had the right to boycott them the way he likes especially after he got redundant after so many years.

I know a woman who won't purchase a newspaper. Her reason being she used to have to get up at a ridiculously early hour to receive newspapers to sell in her shop. She would stand and read all the front covers on the news stand, but in principle wouldn't buy one

I won't travel on Virgin trains or fly the airline because I don't like Richard Branson and our daughter once paid £80 to stand all the way from Victoria to Manchester on a Virgin train.

That is petty!
