Tried anal a few times and hated it every time, it’s too painful for me, zero pleasure. Don’t plan on trying it again with anyone. I see videos of women who make it look so easy and pain free! I do wonder if they really enjoy it or not. I guess some women do! I’ve seen some horror stories aswell though.

I would worry about tears and fissures if I did it. The 2 times I tried, many years ago, were painful and there's no way I'm going to try and "push through the pain" in order to see if there's any pleasure on the other side. And yes, it was with lube, a gentle person and lots of patience.

I don't worry about any consequences as there are, consequences in doing anything, like drink a glass of wine or eating bread. To be honest it's down to person choice, of course beware of any consequences and then make your own choice.
