My dad was told to wear a shirt and tie when working from home and to expect snap inspections via the cam. So I got him one of those shirts with a collar and tie print on it.

Shangri-La

I'm a professional slide tester. I do most types. Straight slides, wavey slides, steep slides, mostly specialise in the bendy tube slide.

Did you ever go down as a slide as kid and get friction burn on your arse or knees? Doing my job naked? Not even Steve O would.

Sensible ish note..

When I did some online zoom courses over lockdown and I did get up every day, normal routine and stuff, getting ready. I didn't go so far as putting my coat on and going out the house and back in again, but if I had just got up made a coffee and sat in bed or on the sofa still in whatever I wore in bed, even though I didn't have to show on video their side, I felt more the part and helped focus me more maybe.

I knew a sports reader on BBC Scotland who after a hockey match he was the goalkeeper simply put a shirt tie and jacket over his hockey kit and read the sports results

When I injured my back and had to work from home I found the same thing. By getting dressed I felt more business-like, even if it was just the kind of jeans and tee I'd wear to work on a dress down day. It was a relief not to have to wear a shirt though. I used to have a habit, going back to when I was a very insecure-about-his-looks young man, of sucking in my gut when wearing a button shirt. But I think I came to associate that posture with being in the office, and by extension work. Certain clothes naturally make us straighten our posture, so when working from home I put on the tightest t-shirt I had. Changing clothes altered my posture and that got my brain into work mode. The human brain is such a fascinating thing. Mine isn't. But generally speaking it is

I can’t.

My rectum sweat would touch the fabric and leave an odour on it.
