Is there such a thing? Does it happen? I know its possible, but has anyone managed one?

Anyone local to me want one?

Yes. I’m not sure if I was more anxious on the meet or sitting back at my desk after a “long lunch”

Only asking as I'm off for for a few more days and don't seem to be having much luck in any interest at all. I know I am a single male so stats are against me.. But this was more of a question of does it happen often enough to bother asking for it.

I Mr, have had a few with lady friends over the years just due to us both being off work the same day during the week but not many and its been some time (at least 5 or 6 years since I did).

Mostly do weekday evenings (if the chance arises for me) or weekends as a couple since that's when work allows.

"Seems it kinda rare these days.. But not unheard of."

Well it can be hard with people that work in the day.

I’m flexible with my work so I can meet a friend who works from home in the day

I can accommodate, saves on expenses for either party

But I'm sure not everyone has this option.

Midweek daytime meets go very quiet during school holidays but apparantly can be quite active during term time.

"Midweek daytime meets go very quiet during school holidays but apparantly can be quite active during term time."

I was gonna say similar

Many parents might struggle to do daytimes during the holidays ..you might have more luck when the kids are back to school.

Exactly this.

Most of our meets have been during school hours. They're all on hold until September

Nah not for me. Socials are fine. Anything else feels too “fuck n go”’ to me in the daytime. Rather make an evening/night of it personally.

Haha. I have done before with a regular friend. Just prefer evenings. I’m just weird. Never denied that

Doesn't have to be 'fuck n go'. Mine were usually at least a few hours..

Years ago I met during the odd day here and there. Not now I'm working and even if I do get a day off, I've got better things to do with my time x
