Thanks you complete morons for stealing off me and you are scum." Have you rang the taxi company on the off chance it came off in the cab. If it did and someone else got in after it could still be gone, but worth a phone call...you'll be no worse off x

"sorry to hear you have lost something of such sentimental value to you. Are youy sure it was one of them who took it? Could it have come loose and fallen off, have you contacetd the restaurant just in case? I don't mean to make light of your obvious distress " I agree it wouldn't hurt to call resturante or cab company in case it got turned in. I'm sure it was stolen but on the off chance it just fell off and was turned in its worth calling.

"So so sorry to hear this - I really feel for you and it is not just about monetary value but also about the meaning of that piece of jewellery for you. Incidentally, people who steal are not necessarily from Liverpool - if this was a theft it could have been from any geographical area. Just my thoughts." What made you mention Liverpool in the context of theft ?

There was a comment previously that seems to have disappeared asking if they were from Liverpool...think it was meant to be a joke but not exactly appropriate or funny

"I hope your property is returned Julie. As they don't use the site it's not likely they will know you are calling them scum. Regardless , as it's sentimental value I really hope it finds it's way back to you." Thanks you Granny, yes they won't see, I was just livid at the time and felt better for ranting lol

I'm sorry, I genuinely symapthise with the op losing the watch, regardless of the circumstances but the assumption that it has been stolen seems, to me at least to be a huge leap to make. I suspect it takes quite a bit of skill to steal a watch off someones wrist without them noticing..

" I suspect it takes quite a bit of skill to steal a watch off someones wrist without them noticing.." It's actually relatively simple, the slill involved would be distracting the person whilst they do it. Magicians do it all the time and there are many YouTube videos showing how to do it.
