When did you last paint your nails?

How often do you do this?

Is it a ritualistic artform for you or simply a paint-and-dash? Are you cute with your cuticles and do you nail it in one go?

I try, I really try, but I only use nail polish when I am frightfully bored. Not worth the hassle.

Same for havong one’s nails done. Our uniform standards at work used to require wearing nail polish but thank goodness it’s gone so my nails are natural 90% of the time.

I hardly ever paint mine. I’m awful at it but did paint them last week as I was meant to be meeting up with a male friend who likes playing with my feet but he got covid so still haven’t seen him.

Mine only get done when my children decide to play with the nail varnish. Which is why I've been walking round for nearly a month with one pink big toe while the other is gold. They look quite funny in sandals

Builder gel nails last me usually every 4/5 weeks and never chip or break

Tried acrylics but couldn't get on with them they kept thinning my nails and hurt after a fortnight. If I try and grow my own they constantly keep breaking, so I opt for glue on nails now which I shape and paint, they occasionally fall off so avoid wearing them on a meet with a lady, don't want to lose one in a intimate place lol.

Currently fuschia pink. I redo them as it wears or goes dull, every couple of weeks or so. Toes always the same (and lippy too! )

I wouldn’t say it’s a ritual but usually whilst I’m chilling watching TV

Last Friday evening; I usually do them every weekend, but normally only fingernails, not toenails, although I do like painting them too. I am getting better at it, slowly, and women have sometimes admired them, which is very flattering, but I always chip them so it only ever lasts for a few days.

Trying to rush it is fatal!

(Toenails when painted I find last for ages, but there is only so much touching up that you can do with painted fingernails, I find, without making an awful mess).

I am very remiss with my nail painting.l always think l have big hands and feet and would rather not draw attention to them.so clear nail varnish for me.

Although maybe distraction is the way to go !

I don't paint my finger nails ever. I do sort my cuticles etc out though as I hate them being untidy. I paint my toenails about twice a month.

Did gel polish 2 weeks ago, normally give them a break for a few weeks/month depending on how they are (longer if they are more worse for wear) and then re-do them

Paint my fingernails and toenails weekly. Use the rimmel dry in 60 seconds polish. Pretty good, although the yellow looks like you dipped your fingers in custard.

Fingernails done every two weeks ideally, although sometimes I'm too busy and go slightly longer.

Toenails , I paint my own , but it rubs off,so I'm going to start having them done with gel in a salon

I get mine done every 3 weeks by the same lovely lady. I get the BIAB (builder in a bottle) and recommend them far more than acrylics and gel nails. Currently my nails are a lovely cornflower blue shade
