He was on the 1st season of pop idol with Gareth gates and Will Young. He had a couple of hit singles but in recent years is mainly known as a West End and Broadway star.

He famously pissed off Simon Cowell for turning down his money to work with a different producer pricier to lockdown.

A music professional I know said he could really sing and was a genuinely nice guy when he worked with him in America.
