Has anyone ever developed feelings for someone during or after a meet?....

Yep. I think I have to have some form of feelings for a person to want to have sex with them. Romantic feelings? Erm.... kind of. Definitely for one who I'm now engaged to. I find it hard to clearly define feelings, there's such a myriad of definitions. Different meanings to different people.

Feelings are a good thing to have, sure sometimes you might wish you didn't but on the whole I like embracing them.

Perfectly put! I’m the same, I need some level of connection for sexual fulfilment

Yes. Feelings to a lesser or greater extent are normal. Otherwise we would just be robots.

It's how you manage those feelings for me.

Me feelings, hah, no, never, nah uh.

I don't do that, like at all.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to go make her brunch... seriously, up less than an hour and a half and on her third fag.

Got to have chemistry. Chemistry is feelings for me.

My teenage years and early 20's are well behind me. Prerequisites were much lower.....

If you mean ‘love’ then no.

But I’ve grown fond of someone as a friend I could and did (or do) care about at a level more than just sex.

That’s just me, if I like you I like you. That’s why one offs don’t work for me very much. Yes it’s all horny and sexy, but it’s the afterwards and in between that make things cool for me.

So yes, I’ve developed feelings of friendship maybe.

Manchester (he/him)

Yes.

I’m not going to go into the ins and outs but over 9 years, the people that I’ve met, feelings are bound to happen at some point.

The real issue is if they’re not reciprocated or if either of you aren’t open or available to take things further.

Yes.

Platonic feelings, but strong bonds formed, for the most part.

And romantic ones. I've fallen in love with someone I met right here in the Lounge.

We blame Nora.

Yep

The first time I met TG I know there was something very special about her that I didn’t want to let go and still feel exactly the same every day.

Love quickly developed even though in no shape of form was I looking for anyone but sometimes you just have to follow your heart.

Not straight after one meet, no

But yes, I have developed feelings for some friends I have met on here over time. Very strong ones for one in particular. but we know where we stand, we have an amazing friendship, tell each other everything, support each other during difficult times and the sex is spectacular.

Before this I developed feelings for someone and that was a mess- haha very Romeo and Juliet OMG I laugh just remembering the drama! I am never making that mistake again. (She says… )

Romantic relationships take time to be cultured and develop. I have feelings for partners and would stop anything that was not mutual or wanted. Cold turkey may be the best option in many instances. I don't get involved in anything that's not good and right for me. Walking away may be tough but is right most of the time.

Yes very deep loving ones over a long time the greatest memories and moments of my life and when i could feel it ending (thanks china and your scruffy food storage come fight me mofos) it began to strip me of who i was abd when i knew id never see her again i stripped myself of all humanity and passion for life i punished myself hard for failing and likely poisoned all good memory of myself by becoming a weaker man than the force of nature i used to be

So a warning to all who want this

Be careful what you wish for but would i do it all again if i could turn back time or a miracle happened with her absofuckinglutley

It is amazing… but of course not perfect. Bloody distance.

I’d move back to Manchester in a heartbeat if I could.

Absolutely - the more time I have spent in the company of someone the more my feelings have developed and thankfully his have grown too.

I could wax lyrical about him but won’t say it’s been an easy ride, however with clear communication and respect for each other we are learning what each other desires and needs from the other - combined with an ability to laugh and be completely ourselves around each other has allowed for some incredible experiences. I believe people come into your life for a reason, we have no control over the length of time they stay so we might as well enjoy the moments we are given and treasure those who make us feel happy xx

Only got them with my other half ,but we kind of knew when speaking before we met that it would likely be more than just a meet .

Never had them with others when single ,sure I liked and had friendships with some I met ,but that was all.

I have developed strong feelings of like & lust for people I have met & continue to meet….romantic feelings of love no but they’re feelings still the same.

I couldn’t have ongoing sexual relations with someone that I didn’t like on some emotional level.

Of course, if I didn’t have some kind of feelings I wouldn’t meet them again and definitely couldn’t have sex. I’m fine with feelings of all types, it’s normal & good to journey into that , but do limit the degree of feelings though so they don’t end up wanting to move in

I have feelings for someone but we've been meeting for over 3 years so it's kind of inevitable I suppose.

I wouldn't say it's love or romantic feelings but I really care for him and I'd definitely miss him and be massively upset if we finished.

No, not of a romantic kind no lovey dovey stuff. Friendship is fine and obviously you need to enjoy a persons company and find them attractive but no close or deep felt feelings. I don’t want that either.

Me too. It's only really a problem if the feeling isn't mutual because someone will end up hurt.

I couldn't have sex with someone I didn't have any feelings towards. And I think sex with feelings involved brings pleasure to a whole new level.
