Why do people put an interest list on their profile, then when messaged about it, theyve never done it or not even interested in that sexual activity...surely the reason for a list is..

^^^This. We have anal ticked, but I'm not doing that with just anyone. I'd have to have some level of trust before doing that (for example).

There's no end of stuff I'd gladly do with Fox but never in a million years do with anyone else. There's also stuff we'll happily do with some people but not everyone.

Just because something is an interest it doesn't guarantee that...

a.) It'll ever happen

b.) It'll happen with you

c.) It's something done all the time

I'm interested in many things that I've no doubt I'll not get to do in this lifetime. People use lists for different reasons.

Maybe they're just not interested in it with certain people or in certain situations. Or maybe it's a polite brush off. Just because there is an interest listed doesn't mean they have to do it.

we have only ticked one box and thats cuckolding could tick a lot more but that just attracts those we really are not interested with ...

OP let me put it this way.

If you had gangbangs listed people might see it and think you want to be gangbanged. You might want to be in the queue, not the target of attention.

If you had fishing listed people might think you want to be fisted. But you might want to do the fisting.

If you had watersports listed people might think you'd be willing to be pissed on by a dozen incontinent OAPs. Or you may just like kayaking.

The point is, never assume. It's why people chat. If you go in all guns blazing with something along the lines of "I see you have anal listed - can I smash your back doors in?" you'll rarely get a warm welcome.
