Secret hideaway in the pennines

For me has to be William Dafoe in Platoon.

Still brings a bit of a lump to my throat.

What's yours?

Most memorable and probably the quickest death scene was in final destination when she says goodby to her mates and steps into the road into the path of the bus, split second and put the shits up me when I first saw it.

‘Steel Magnolias’ made me weep when I was younger. ‘PS I Love You’ always gets me, and still the only book that’s ever made me properly sob. ‘Death Sentence’ is an all round awesome movie and that broke my heart. It is rare there’s a death in a film that makes me cry though.

Was coming to post this.

Any animal film gets me. Marley and Me makes me cry no matter how many times I have watched it.

Also Homeward Bound (no spoilers) but I cried for about 30 mins through a whole mix of emotions

"

Agreed about animals in movies in general, it just hits different. Does in real life as well to be fair...

Sam in particular really got me though, fucking zombies.

I think best movie death that hits the hardest for me personally is Iron Man in End Game

But for comedic value or over the top violence, any thing with Arnie in it is pure gold!

“Let off some steam Bennett”

“I let him go”

“Hey Benny, SCREW YOU!!!”

“Here is Sub Zero, now plain zero!”

Although top of the over the top violent death for me is poor old Mar Kinney from Robocop who get blown to pieces by a faulty ED-209 “I’m sure it’s only a glitch, a temporary set back!”
