Never smoked a cigarette in my life, saw the damage it did to my late father.

I am not anti smoking and have no issues meeting smokers, it is just not for me.

I have never smoked, I was talked out if it when I was 13. My uncle was dying of lung cancer, the consultant took me to one side and told me very clearly why he was dying.

Lucky you. I can say that (apart from marrying my first wife) that the most stupid thing I ever did was to start smoking at 19. The cleverest was to give up 13 years later. That was 40 years ago. I still resent the time and money wasted.

Now I cannot stand to be near someone puffing on a cigarette.
