"imagine if I ventured into the big City! " The only time I ever had an issue was when me and a much taller gf were walking through her neighbourhood, and a bunch of kids shouted that "She's taller than him" like it was some kind of novelty they needed to mock. I just shouted back with "well no shit sherlock, at least I'm getting some" :D

"I feel like women are getting taller Apparently the national average is 5 foot 4 or something similar which seems tiny to me I've been this height since I was a child(I hit puberty really early) so it just feels normal to me until I meet women who are shorter then I like " I was just about to ask what the average was. Didn't realise it was that small, seems tiny to me too. I think I know maybe one woman at that height. Most are 5"6+ Pxx

"I stand 5'9" in my stockinged feet, taller still in heels, and will not go out with any man under six foot tall. Missed a lot of action probably as a result... " I’m over 6 ft

"Copied from Google "According to the Office of National Statistics, the average height of a man in the UK is 5ft 9in ( (175.3cm) and a woman is 5ft 3in (161.6cm)" " in that case I'm average not a short arse like I thought

"I think they are getting taller, lots of the girls my son was at school with are all quite tall." We have to remember that the ONS average heights will include people from all age brackets. Older women will be smaller, on average. If we compared the average height of women, say, over 70 with those under 25, we'd find the under 25s are taller (on average).
