On your profile where the wee icons for location I get the house and globe icon are distances from your postcode but why is it that the globe and mobile phone icon always much closer? I don't understand this esp when the location is turned off on our phone?

It will still give a distance based on the postcode you entered as your location

Yeah but the distance are never the same from globe to house icon and the globe to mobile icon

My location isn’t necessarily where I , if I’m travelling in the UK I sometimes will change the location a few weeks before I go

How I understand it...

Top one is distance based on the postcode entered when you registered.

The bottom one based on GPS data, you location may be turned off but the profile you looking at may have thiers on so it's thier distance from you based on the mobile data.

I do this too....in the hope of securing a meet prior to getting there. Never works though!
