I arrived home from Swansea last night, knackered after getting up so early every morning with the grandchildren and sad we are not closer but I'm just glugging back a coffee (hazelnut syrup really does taste of hazelnut. Who'd a thought) before heading off to London to stay with my son until Sunday.

I realised last night that I hadn't had a fiddle for a week! Will I go blind?
