Tips on taking photos

Have just tried to take some more pics to replace and up date the others.

Has anyone got any tips on angles etc.

Hate everyone that we have taken so far.

In everyone my bum seems to take over the photos and it's the one thing i hate

Help before the camera becomes inbeded in the wall pleaseeeeeeeeee

Try using picassa free from google. you can crop and change to black and white etc. very good easy to use program.

Take millions of pics from as many angles as you can. You're bound to find one you like eventually.

Turn side on to the camera, with the leg nearest the camera slightly on front of the other, if you're worried about your bum don't be it only looks big to you because you're concentrating on it lol. Have your back to the camera and stretch upwards it lengthens and smooths out. If you are going to be wearing anything make it a one piece item of clothing that doesn't dig in anywhere and as someone else said take loads and pick the best ones. I'm sure the ones you have are really good but you are being over critcal of yourself, I make Mr N go through ours and take out any that would have me crying in my pillow at night lol

First off, relax. If you don't it will show in your pics.

Try and focus the camera lens on something close up (ie a foot, hand or something, so the rest of the subject behind becomes slightly out of focus) and this should be an interesting shot.

Are you taking shots indoors or out?

Indoors you can be more risque with shots, outdoors you can try some cheeky shots.

Try as many different angles as you can and take plenty of shots. You can always crop any that need adjusting.

The main thing is to have fun when doing them

I hate most of my pics. Takes Benz ages to finally get one I like.

He just keeps snapping and eventually I find one or two I like.

The other problem is we only have a little house so most walls have something in front of it.

So steps back and your wedged against something Hense not very flattering shots as so close

Have just done one stood against living room wall naked under a coat and kept having to open and close the coat as people walk past the window

I've a bit of experience with wildlife photography!

Keep the camera pointed away from direct sunlight, make sure you're framing the 'subject matter' well - and keep snapping til your batteries run out.

Then just pick and choose the ones you like and ditch the rest - a lot is trial and error.

Oh - and don't wear a fur coat - they look great on squirrels but little else!

That's the only pic that i like and has come out ok.. BUT it's pretend fur

It looks better on the animal so i'm quite happy to pretend xxx

From experience I can offer the following advice:

Don't leave axes and rope in view...

Ensure you put a nice fresh rug down over the bloodstains before posing.

Make sure it's not a window-cleaning day before you get your gimp suit on.

Just a few bits I've picked up recently while attempting to update my photos
