Neither, ignore the sent box.

People will either reply or they won't.

People will either have shit going on or they won't.

If it's folks either on here or other communications that you've spoken with previously/care about to a degree and they don't respond, check in with them another time, letting them know its a check in that they're OK.

I delete the sent messages near instantly after sending them so I’m not tempted to check if they’ve been read. Means if I get a reply it’s a nice surprise

I've discovered a little trick with my messages

I don't reply to straight guys.

So I leave my messages for a day or so unanswered (but I check their profile) and the next day I check if they've change their sexuality back from bi to straight.

I'm sneeky like that
