Not in the sense that the universe is dishing out justice no I don't.

I think that what you put out comes back to you in terms of positivity.

The world's just organised chaos, that we try and see patterns in, that suit our outlook?

As above really. You can look for all the negative stuff, or focus on the good and that ultimately becomes your experience of life which you're totally in control of.

My friend once picked up someone else's can of drink because she was thirsty. Took a giant swig and it was full of old fag ends.

Is that karma?

Oh I do!. There's been this idiot motorcyclist who finds it clever to race round the roads at 3am every morning for the last couple weeks. Its not a quiet bike and you can hear it coming from miles away, certainly at night!

Last week I'd heard via FB that he'd crashed and broken several bones.

I have nothing against motorcyclist, I have been one myself.

That is Karma!

In my younger years I found a wallet on my paper round handed it in to the local police station.

Subsequently I lost my wallet a few years back this was returned to my door step.

I’ll never know if that person got the wallet back, for me this was my Karma when mine returned & hopefully the kind gent who returned mine will get his

Mr

The company protected a supervisor during an investigation to make sure he never got the sack, he fucked things up for himself and got the sack for sending indecent pictures of himself to a female collegue.

Nooooooooo... Mind you... Done the same thing... I think that's just one of life's lessons though... Check what you're putting in your mouth (which on this site should be de rigeur)

Personally, I would say that by the laws of average...if you ride like a twat over and over,at some point you will get hurt.

In the Western sense, that it’s some kind of force? No. Doing one ‘bad’ thing doesn’t result in a future negative outcome for yourself by some mystical force.

But from the perspective that your behaviour and thoughts can have a tangible impact on the people and world around you, yes, in some sense. There’s loads of adages about it. Negativity breeds negativity. Fake it till you make it, you reap what you sow etc.

I think the intended teaching of karma boils down to not being guided only by the outcomes of your actions and continuously trying to maintain a constructive state of mind that benefits yourself and those around you, but I don’t do yoga and I’m no yogi.

The local yobbo who was flying about the town on a quad bike total disregard for anyone else on the road and pedestrians as he’d often use the pavement to escape plod unfortunately one night he misjudged the corner and hit the metal fence headfirst unfortunately his cheap helmet didn’t save him untold damage to the fence every time I drive past and see the bent fence I can’t help but hear the words of the late great Windsor Davies”oh dear how sad never mind”

Our brains are wired to see patterns and reason in things. Hence the idea of Karma and religion. The world would be better if Karma existed....alas it doesn't. ( but I'm pretty sure the tooth fairy and santa do ).

it’s mumbo jumbo I make my own luck and if I do become a victim of “karma” it won’t be on the back of an uninsured quad with a broken skull
