OK, so having seen this cropping up more and more..

In the context of couples or women looking for singles..

What does generous mean? Or better still extremely generous?

"As a rule, lavish them with money or gifts, have seen some actually say the have a gift wish list"

I wondered if it was me being overly cynical...

Single guys.. We like the finer things in life and will occasionally meet very generous older men...etc...

Is there a hidden meaning?

For me personally, I use it to say I'll give more than two biscuits with your cuppa.

Or just a mug who will treat them to dinner, clothes, gifts etc and leave a few notes on the side as they leave.
