car you have ever owned and what's was the most unreliable one. My most reliable was a Toyota Yaris never cost me a penny and our worst was a Renault grand scenic, spent thousands on repairing it.

Have a lovely day all.

Most reliable - current car, Renault Sport Tourer, 2012 model

Least reliable - my first car, Vauxhall Corsa, M reg. It had some kind of electrical/alternator/battery fault that no-one could fix and so I learned to roll start it literally everywhere

I’ve had 8 Ford Focuses (Foci?) and I’ve never had one go wrong on me, the biggest heap I ever had was a Volkswagen Sharan, great fun if you like lying in the snow in sub zero temperatures on New Years Eve replacing a blown turbo and head gasket.

That's an oddly specific thing to enjoy. What if you only enjoy doing that on New Year's Day?

Have had 3 Honda CRV. ??????

Did have Range Rover Sport diesel. Timing chain failed at 34K . Lucky had extended warranty . Once fixed sold back to JLR dealership from where purchased. This due to when purchased. Dealership not carried out checks they said were done. I did not lose as much money as would have done if traded in , sold privately.

For most of my life I have tended to drive cars that are mechanically easy to fix - either bangers or classics - and so have usually been able to solve most of my troubles myself.

My idea of a good holiday when the kids were younger was to take the VW bus somewhere - preferably a long way away. No matter what condition the bus was when we left it was always running fine by the time we got back. The kids didn’t always appreciate the “quality” time we spent “stopped” somewhere

It was an experience I’d never like to repeat, took a while to get the feeling back into my fingers.

Other than the chassis an absolute beauty. All you ever needed was a hammer, screwdriver and duck tape. I had a hole in the exhaust and kept it taped up for 6 months

But I did manage to be towed in my parents Mini Cooper when my own car (Ford Focus - bomb proof!) was in the garage - turns out I just didn't know how to start the engine in an automatic Mrs
