They used to replace the small vans every 3 years and the bigger vans and trucks every 6 years. I’ve seen plenty now that are much older, so the simple, and probably boring, reason is that they are keeping vehicles longer now.

Probably because they’re struggling to actually turn a profit to buy new vans.

They’re currently wanting staff to work 1 in 4 Sundays now, which they’re about to go on Strike over

It’s probably due to the shortage and delay on delivery of new vehicles. Ours is a new ev van so they obviously are changing over but prob struggling to get the new vehicles
