Cougars….

I was just sat pondering …..

Is it the age of the woman that makes her a cougar?

Or the age of the guys she meets?

Or the combination of the 2?

Always curious

It’s all relative. The younger the man the younger his perception of what a cougar will be.

Sort of how at 18 you think 30 is ancient then at 30 you don’t feel old at all.

Cougar...

Informal - a powerful woman (40 or older, in her sexual prime, emotionally more mature and energetic) that is not as satisfied with men stuck in an old mind-set about women/ sex/ politics etc. Usually prefers younger men (or younger looking men )

Formal - a large American wild cat with a plain tawny to greyish coat, found from Canada to Patagonia

I always wondered why the association between the two

Average life expectancy in the UK is a smidge over 80, median age just a touch over 40 so 40 is give or take the genuine "middle age". However, as I refuse to accept I am no longer middle aged and are now old until I'm well past 50, I have to accept that your child is right and middle age is 40 +/- 15 years it starts at 25 and extends to 55

Bedford (or anywhere beginning with B..!?)

Do you ever get Deja vu here... (deep breath...)

So, based on a woman's age, this scale classifies women (who prey on younger men for their sexual appetite) as felines.

The scale is as follows:

Age 0-12: Housecat

Age 13-17: Bobcat

Age 18-21: Wildcat

Age 22-29: Lynx

Age 30-39: Puma

Age 40-49: Cougar

Age 50-59: Jaguar

Age 60-68: Panther

Age 69: Pussycat

Age 70-79: Cheetah

Age 80-89: Leopard

Age 90-99: Tiger

Age 100+: Lioness

Think we can rule out house cat and Bob cat

"I’d rather just be an older woman, not a fan of all these terms

We have lazy brains that love labels. A single word can convey a huge amount of information. I was picked up earlier on a word choice, not a label, something far simpler but it shows just how powerful words are. Also, despite what anyone says, we all love to label ourselves (you just chose woman as yours) and are incredibly possessive of the meaning we want attached to the words. It's only labels we don't like that we get upset about.

I think point of comparative reference as others have said, dictates terms sometimes.

As does the diet and rate of consumption of pornography, and intellect, and whether or not they actually really hope to get some.

So please, all you fitty milfy cougars in your late twenties, where are you?
