Whose your favourite or favourites.

For me it’s got to be Columbo, followed by Hong Kong Phooey.

Bergerac. You didn't fuck with Jim Bergerac. You could fuck with Charlie Hungerford but Jim would usually bail him out.

Wasn't quite as keen on him when he transferred to Midsomer though.

Probably spelling this wrong, but I used to like Banacheck (George Peppard), I enjoy Rebus too, and Bosch on Amazon

North East Scotland, mostly

Always a fan of Perry Mason, he had the best theme tune. Also Jessica Fletcher, AKA the Harbinger Of Death.

Inspector Morse I’ve also read the books, so looking for Colin Dexter (the Author) as an extra is always good fun. It’s the character I have the most empathy with.

Other soft spots,

The Sweeney, when ‘real men’ beat up criminals before breakfast.

Jane Tennison from Prime Suspect.

Not a real detective but certainly helped find the bad guys, Robbie Coltrane as Fitz in Cracker.

Add another lady ….Saga in the Scandi Noir series The Bridge.

Finally everyone in Line of Duty
