Do any of you use tried and tested "home rememdies" to cure your ailments ?

I do use my gold earing if i have a stye comming on my eye and "touch wood" it always goes away.

I take it out me ear...lick it and rub it on my eye where it hurts.

And its gone.

Summat in the gold they say ?

My Mum used to use her wedding ring if I ever had a stye lol so there must be something in it xxx
