Is the swinging lifestyle hindering my chances?

Where the flamboyance of flamingos live

I have been a swinger now for the last few years and really enjoy the lifestyle. However, I am single and at the end of the day would like nothing more than a significant other to share life’s wonders with and grow old together.

Is living this lifestyle hindering any prospects of something more?

Do you feel it might be?

I would say it depends how you look at it. Would you want to meet someone to share this lifestyle with? If not then it may do. If you do then it may be more difficult but you're in a better place to find a compatible partner.

It's probably reducing the size of your Pond for sure.

But depends on if you want to enjoy the lifestyle with someone else or leave it behind.

I would say no not at all for me I find it makes it better

As when I am on a date I haven’t got sex on my mind so it allows me to look at the quality’s in someone’s without need to have sex with them

You can do both fronts

If you find someone to settle down with you can just leave fab and shut the door don’t need to tell them

As it shouldn’t hold any merriment against you for what you did before meeting the person

Probably. But you can’t pick who or where the person who wants something more with you is going to come from anyway

How many people you know are trying traditional dating with no success?

Partners who want to be more than just a quick fling will come out of the blue op. Just be you, it’ll happen when it happens.

Whilst this isn’t a dating site you probably stand more chance of finding someone here!

Dating sites are less about sex but definitely more about fuck and go!

Then I would say being involved already is a positive. I've introduced partners to clubs and stuff before and it was useful we weren't both new to it.

I don't see why it would. And surely it's better to be open about what you want, there will always be someone who wants the same as you. Be it on here or in life outside of here.

Obviously I’d say yes, because the majority of society isn’t into this stuff, so you are significantly reducing the pool of partners you have to pick from

I think that’s the ultimate goal, but it’s a very hard thing to find someone for a LTR that is totally on the same page with regards to swinging and the inherent jealousy and trust issues that seems to come hand in hand with it.

No I don’t think it is

However, on here , as anywhere I guess - people are extremely fickle. They can tell you everything you want to hear !!!

I truly wish you all the luck

It depends on whether a potential partner appreciates and understands the lifestyle. If not, there may be an issue.

Some men do look at a woman's past when determining if there's a future.

All sorts of things hinder your chances with some people but the same things increase them with others

Bedford (or anywhere beginning with B..!?)

OP I've had LTRs from stumbling across a fellow minded soul on Fab and it's just happened... then you find the balance as a swinging couple if that's what you both want.

There's plenty of other couple examples here now too who met through Fab.

Hang in there, and just enjoy what you're enjoying

Without knowing you personally, how could anyone besides you, objectively and accurately answer this question in the first place?
