Anyone into listening to audiobooks or dramas, just finished a DCI William Warwick currently listening to wild rose on iPlayer.

I'm assuming this is a thinly veiled attempt at humour at folks who listen to books rather than read books - personally I work alone most of the time and I either have silence, music, audio books/podcasts to listen to. Very difficult to read whilst driving or handling tools. Whilst I'm not visually impaired I can imagine that audio is of benefit.

I used to do a 200 mile daily commute to Cambridge and back and would get through 5 a week on audible. Great app I learned so much but also classics I did wuthering heights, 1984, naked lunch , fear and loathing , I miss that commute

There's alot. I like Ryan halliday and Simon sinek I think they are very relative and are simple to absorb. Also like a diary of a ceo podcast. Some really good ones. Feel free to message anyone that may have specifics to share.

I do a fair bit of driving for work and go through loads of audio books. Currently topping up my Terry Pratchet collection. About 50/50 fiction and non fiction. Great way to learn stuff though many of the non fiction books get listened to in 15 minute chunks with regular rewinds.

LTOR gets a run through every year or so, game of thrones series was good except the last book hasn't been written

Bill Bryson has done amusing books and his Short History of Nearly Everything is worth anybodies time.

I use audio books all the time since discovering then during lockdown... Fantastic for keeping you compant and when walking /ar the gym etc

I use libby, the free library app.

I'm currently listening to the Australian comic, Hannah Gadsby - ten steps to Nannette

The John Le Carre series on Audible is good, if you like tense cold war stuff. Also, go to fourble dot co dot uk - a treasure trove of Audio / Radio stuff, everything from 1930s to present day stuff - which you can turn into podcasts in seconds.

I'm a big audiobook fan. Used to help kill the time in traffic on the M25 of a Friday evening. I learnt a hell of a lot.
