Inappropriate naming...

So, on the back of seeing SuBo's PR team and #SUSANALBUMPARTY, a friend told me of a site that lists theatrical agents, called Whorepresents.com!

Have any of you come across any sites, places, or events where perhaps with hindsight they maybe could have re-thought the name?

Newcastle Polytechnic had as it's first choice for a name City University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

They only realised when the headed paper arrived...

Associated British Ports named the new terminal at immingham, South Humberside Import Terminal....... South was quickly dropped from the new terminal signage

A school in Essex changed to an academy last year. The name they chose was Ormiston Rivers Academy of Learning.

After a few parents pointed out the blindingly obvious, they quietly dropped the 'of Learning' bit.... I kid you not....

its an urban myth...... they said the same thing for nottingham poly... City University Nottingham Trent.....
