Only way to save the day from being a total washout is to jump on a plane… come to mine … demand sex…. Jump on a plane… get home… flop in the chair… ask hubby to make you a cuppa as you haven’t stopped all day!!!

I turned down dinner out because I thought my online shop was being delivered tonight so I needed to be home.

Turns out it's Wednesday and not Thursday as I'd supposed, so online shop isn't being delivered until tomorrow.

Would-be dinner date is now in work and phoneless until 5.30, which is far too late for me to reasonably tell him I changed my mind.

Gutted on all counts: to not be out for dinner, not spend time with a friend, not be a day away from the weekend and not have a scrap of food fit to eat in the flat. Sigh.

Oh yes. My silly almost caused me injury.

In my half asleep state, I loaded the barbell with mismatched weight plates, and wondered why I was almost dropping it one side.
