" As an outsider I’ve found the forums a hard place to get on at times. It still amazes me how many ‘fab a pic from the profile above’ or ‘ask in private answer in public’ threads there are which only the ‘usual’ social group rely to. It used to bother me as I came here looking to find friends because I live quite an isolated life, but now I’ve just come to expect it. I still join in, there’s some amazing diamonds in the rough and like true diamonds often they’re under immense pressure themselves. | |||

It's been one of the biggest conversation starters for me on here (my favourite ever meet came from one of those chats), and as you say there are a number of people on those threads who also struggle to connect on here and are happy to chat. | |||
