"Am no expert, but my first question would what’s your mileage ? Having bought a van just before lockdown my first tank of fuel was £60 and now it’s £107. If buying now I would consider electric but from what I’ve herd the mileage is poor. (Quite prepared to be corrected on this). " Well now "ELECTRIC" my Nissan Leaf will do 160 to 170 miles to a full charge, my wife's Nissan Leaf the next model up does 240 to 250 miles to a full charge, we have this weekend tried to get a look at the new Ariya but it's not in stock yet 3oo to 310 miles, I've never had a car that can do 300 miles on one tank, the electric vehicles are getting better every generation.

" Well now "ELECTRIC" my Nissan Leaf will do 160 to 170 miles to a full charge " I think you'll find this a thread on vans not cars! However - if you know of an electric van that can do 650 miles on a charge - tow my caravan & horse trailer & get 8x4 sheets inside then I'm all ears!

"I'd go Mazda Bongo but it's just because I like the name " The Bongo is a camper/day van- it’s also an import, so might affect insurance from some providers….and it’s not actually called a bongo- it’s either a Friendee in Mazda badged or Freida if you get the Ford badge version (although they all get known as Bongos)
