Well Thursday night my mum got rushed to a&e due to heart issues.

Last December she had similar but was so sick nearly died on ward but lucky didn’t.

This time the great staff are running loads tests and trying figure out what going on.

I know this isn’t Facebook but as said numerous times I don’t have big circle of friends da if any so this helps. Am absolutely petrified after last yr what may happen an due to knowledge have doesn’t help when it’s loved one.

But at moment just plodding along in work and feel so lost. Was glad got visit Saturday as last yr couldn’t but due to outbreak no visiting now which am ok with but sad still.

I posted status about other day as I’d been planning meet and cos all this been slow or delay reply about meets got told must be fake and they will spread to ppl how am fake etc must admit this did upset me as am anything but that but sometimes life and family come first.

Some nice ppl sent msgs so thanks and sorry for post here and stuff

Hello mate. Sorry to hear about your mother,hope she gets better soon. There’s a lot of nice people on here who will always lend an ear to chat to in times like this.

As for being called fake,try not to let it bother you. If you’re genuine people will realise.

I hope you're ok, OP. It is never easy when a loved one is ill and it is even worse when it doesn't look good.

I'm sorry you're having to go through this and I hope she is alright.

There are good people here and many who care, those who are sceptical probably have their reasons but it isn't nice to be on the receiving end of that, and I'm sorry you have been.

I hope you have support in your life, and you can support your mum through this as well.

Just tough as nearly lost her last yr and now all started again boooo

Hey OP...I hope both you and your mom are doing ok.

I know these are worrying times for you and when it comes moms well, that can be a different level of worry altogether.

Anyhoo I hope all works out for you.

And you know...people who show such a lack of understanding and call you fake aren't worth the time of day...don't spare them another thought.

Yes real life gets in the way which some people on here forget we all have.

The person had their own reasons to be sceptical for you cancelling maybe its happened to them alot.

Concentrate on your mum at the minute. I'd not worry about someone saying you're fake and going to spread it around.

Unfortunately there's some not so nice people on here, like all these sites.

Sorry to hear you’re going through this. I have experienced similar to you with one of my parents, and they have since been given a terminal diagnosis last week that I am still struggling to get my head around. Family comes first, always. And make every single moment count, because life is too short and precious.

Don’t worry about the people thinking you’re fake - block them, delete the messages and move on. Genuine people will be understanding.

Make sure you keep talking about how you feel and don’t bottle things up. Take care.

Thanks everyone news was bad scans she’s had of heart not have good outlook or views so now has have more but major delays and specialist won’t send home cos high risk or heart failure and arrest so has stay in for minimum 2 weeks and having nurse escort to cardiac scan on Friday.

So life feels sucky and works bonkers and stuff just want blow out but hard when no friend and lonely. So best able to do was just go for 6 mile bike ride but all I want do is cry esp cos been 2 weeks since seen her and when seen pic looks tired and weak.

Sorry for going on this is only place feel can speak as no where else and even work feel can’t speak so struggle alone and I’m breaking

Have you told work you're dealing with lots of external stress too, mate? You should, and they should care about your wellbeing too. You're juggling a lot so only natural you're easily annoyed and frustrated at work. Hope everything sorts itself out soon!

I have but due to shortages etc didn’t make difference but usually cos I don’t make fuss and seen as reliable no one expects me struggle

But be ok eventually

Just been visit for first Time in 2 weeks cos covid restriction and she’s looking ok but after hour half visit was exhausted which isn’t her normal but waiting on results of Friday scans see how much damage has been or how sever heart failure is

So update after scan last week still awaiting information and stuff got quite upsetting today as a student dr told mum she’s going home and told staff. Problem was the consultant never said it or anything so idiot built her hopes up that may found what wrong and how bad damage is etc. but nope still nothing and fact specialists won’t let home makes feel more worse than thought.

Anyway am still spiralling idiot work know now but nothing can do so just keep going even though my moods on knife edge.

Happy bit been invited to break few nights with friend in Scotland this weekend to try break mind and breath parents encouraging me go guess know how hard work and crazy goin.

Just wow so tough when all my skills can’t fix this issue and just had huge cry just feel lost and vulnerable

Thanks for the nice messages and support mum got released Saturday so her and dad are now safe and ok.

Scary times but she insisted I went Scotland on trip had planned for while and that was nice knowing she was ok and getting home so managed have few days break to recover and clear my brain after all the trauma.

Haven’t been on after time away think exhausted and stuff got sickness bug so lost few days lol and also about 12lbs (good side I guess)

Anyways finally got see mum yesterday as came visit and looking great and was so nice see her up and stuff and dad keeps making go out walks out doin things keep active so was great see her ok.
