Have any of you been in a position where you’re trying to get over someone that you loved, and you know you’re coming to the end of that period but you’re actually quite scared of admitting it because it closes the door on any chance of reconciliation?

Thanks

Manchester (she/her)

I felt that way as I let go of religion. Never about a relationship. But I'm sorry if you're struggling

I think so, yeah. It wasn’t an overwhelmingly strong feeling though and the liberation of the weight being lifted (through acknowledgement) that came afterward blew that feeling out of the water.

Not because it closes a door on reconciliation, but, I suppose, in admitting that I was wrong about them.

That my feelings tricked me.

If I had, I think it would tell me that I wasn't over them.

Hasn't ever happened though.

Secret hideaway in the pennines
