I promised myself only 1 football related thread I would start today…..

Right….. David badiel says the song should now be retired after the win yesterday

So… should it? If so replace it with? Is it now to be sweet Caroline from here onwards?

I love the song. I play it on repeat during international tournaments but if one of the men who wrote it wants to retire it then I guess we should.

World in motion is better anyway.

I don’t think Sweet Caroline should replace Football Coming Home I think we should stick with Football Coming Home.Also Sweet Caroline has been the darts player Darly Gurney walk on music for the last 5 years or so perhaps it’s best to share it between them

Nooooooo I love how pessimistically British it is with the overtones of optimism. It's how every fan feels going into a tournament regardless of how recently something has been won.

Also, fucking William Hill with their fucking gambling ads ruined Sweet Caroline for me
