How do you approach women in public/social settings? Does it work for you? If so, how successful are you in the following:

• Getting the number

• Taking the woman home/hotel same day/night

• Getting laid (this could be first time around or in a future meeting)

Also, do any of you approach women who are in a group? Have you been successful here?

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

I tried it once back in the mid 80’s as she was smiling at me and I was only about 18 and feeling brave, turned out she was the girlfriend of an acquaintance of mine and she had recognised me and was just being polite. I gave up trying to just go and talk to random strangers in public places after that.

I would never approach a woman in public, with the intent to get a number or a date from her (not even in a social environment such as a club/bar/pub)...I can't tell if a woman wants to be approached or not and I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. I'll stick to online dating ...works better for me

I’ve never tried to chat a girl up in RL in a bar/club. I couldn’t think of anything worse.

I wouldn’t shop for clothes in the dark, so I wouldn’t choose my women that way either

I always speak with a smile, and apparently, I have ‘a look’ with my eyes lol

I have run my own sales-driven business for the last 23 years, being publicly customer-facing every day, speaking directly with everyone from the cleaner to the company director face to face, so I know how to speak to strangers, and am good at reading body language.

I have enjoyed ‘success’ over the years lol

Sometimes it’s actually easier to approach women in a group, as they will feel more comfortable talking to a stranger, than if they were by themselves
